Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Not worth it. Bought some food recently. Worse than anything. No taste. That lumprice is the worst lumprice i ever bought. They just put turmeric and dill on cooked rice.no taste at all. I wonder how they get these good reviews. I see the owner posting almost everyday. You can cook better than them. And they give you a very little portion. Dont go there.

During our trip through Staten Island, we stopped at Randi’s for a traditional Sri Lankan lunch, and it was a great find. They offer a lunch buffet with a nice variety of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, along with a selection of desserts. The buffet is located on the second floor. Seating is somewhat limited, but we had no trouble finding a table. Every dish we tried was full of authentic flavor. My favorites were the beef stew, chicken curry, dhal curry, and the freshly made rolls and patties. They also had a small selection of Indian vada, which was a nice addition to the buffet. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the Staten Island area, Randi’s is definitely worth a visit. We’ll gladly stop by again the next time we’re in the area.

As a Sri Lankan, I can confidently say this place is the real deal β€” 200% authentic and absolutely outstanding. From the moment you walk in, the aroma alone takes you straight back home. Knowing the chef is a renowned top chef makes perfect sense once you taste the food β€” every dish is crafted with incredible skill and authenticity. The chicken curry is rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced β€” easily one of the best I’ve had outside Sri Lanka. The egg hoppers and plain hoppers are spot-on, with that perfect soft center and crispy edges. The vade and prawn (shrimp) vade are crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. And the hot butter cuttlefish? An absolute must-try β€” spicy, savory, and unforgettable. Don’t leave without trying the falooda β€” the perfect sweet finish to an amazing meal. Beyond the food, the service is incredibly warm and friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re craving true Sri Lankan flavors in Staten Island, this spot is a five-star must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again when visiting the east coast!!

The food is delicious; There is a good selection of Sri Lankan dishes. The Buffet is recommended. The customer service is great. Although they have a little car park, they packed the takeaway well.
